What I Want To Be??

Although it may seem like I actually know what I wanna do in the future, the simple truth is that I don't (It probably didn't seem like a knew what I was doing). Sure, it might seem appealing to be an environmental lawyer or a business man, but I'll never know how suitable the career is unless I try it. With the rising tuition costs at universities every year, trial and error is a risky option. When somebody asks me about future career possibilities (which always happens when I'm around my relatives), I want to be able to say with certainty, what career I want to be in. By the time senior year comes around, I hope I'll have my mind made up.

  1. Rei, I totally get not having any idea what you want to do with your life. I'm in the same boat right now. Hopefully we'll both be inspired over the course of the next year and find our place in this world! Keep up your hard work!

  2. I can relate to not knowing what you want to do after high school. A huge question mark just pops up when being asked about career possibilities. But I'm sure you will succeed at whatever you end up doing!

  3. Rei - I just want to say that you definitely don't need to focus on one career only - leave your options open. Lots of people even switch majors in college and change their outlook entirely. I personally am torn between several general fields with lots of jobs in each.

Also, you should get an internship over the summer. Internships are good. Internships let you know what a job is like. Internships are very good.

  4. Maaaaan I am glad someone is in the same situation as me. It is hard deciding on a carrer which you will put in your time and effort for potentially the rest of your life. Hopefully both of us will get a good idea by next year. Good luck!

  5. Very understandable Rei, I know you're the type of guy who is indecisive, but that is definitely not a bad thing! It just means you're still in the learning process of who you are in the inside. Honestly I believe that you'll really be a "superman" in whatever field you choose to pursue. Just keep working hard in school and you'll be on the road to success:)

  6. I hope you make up your mind soon! No pressure but we're practically already seniors. There are 8 weeks left of school and many of us still don't know what to be when the time comes around. (including me) We should work together to find a job that fits our assets.

  7. Rei, you have so many things going for you, I have no doubt in my mind that the future holds something great for you. Especially with your active participation in school functions like breakdance club and ecology club, and who could forget YT4L. You'll find your dream job, just keep your mind wide open!
